Discover CLI question

So I just requested  a CLI on my Discover card. On a SP they granted $1k increase. I declined. If I call them and request a HP CLI do you think I would get something larger than $1k? Suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Take the 1k and then hit it again in 2-3 weeks.  Why take a HP when they're giving away multiple sp cli's so easily?

You should have seen that statement just below your 1k approval.  They will ask if you would rather a different cli with an HP.  You could get one.  I never tried.  Always took the 1k since it's every 17 days for me.

Yes...its been going on for over a month now.

I just tried it and got insta-denied. How long do they usually want the account to be open before granting CLI's?

I just tried it and received a $1,500 cli. I've had the card a year with an $1,100 cl. Received an automatic $400 increase 3 days ago.

Didn't realize the cli request would only be a soft pull or I would have requested one sooner.

When you tried to CLI, did they ask for your permission to pull your credit and your phone number?

4.15 - $1K

5.1 - $1K

5.17 - $1K

Had my card under 6 months.  Started at 5.5 & now up to 9.2.    Hoping for a nice 15k limit down the road.
