You'll get it. You have way higher limits than I do. My highest CC is 4k although my LOC is 9,800.00.
GO FOR IT!!!

Now for speculation. Everyone (without serious baddies) seems to get the $500 at the 6 month mark if you request it.
Everyone else that is not part of those everyones, please cry with me.

So should I let it go past 6 months and see if I get an auto?
6 month CLIs are not automatic....I had my card for 7 months, NO LUV until I called in.

I will call in after a week or so after the 6th statement cut, i know they're not automatic but it would be nice................
LS - Discover is strange.
If you remember, they started me at $1500, then auto CLI a year later to $2000. Then about a month ago when I changed to the IT card, they increased me with a SP to $5000.00. My TU score was 785 at the time and my util was less than 1%.
I asked the rep when I could ask for another CL and she told me every 6 months.
So good luck, give them a call as you have nothing to lose with them...

I got an auto CLI in July of $1,500 (from 5k to 6.5k) after only the 3rd statement cut (got the card in April of this year). At the time, I had a balance of $1.3k on the card.
I use the card heavily for the 5% categories and, in turn, make sizable payments 5 days before the due date.
The balance is from an international flight I purchased back in May....which i am currently carrying to take advantage of the 0% intro rate.
I don't remember my score when I apped, but it was around 670ish.
Hope this helps.
They love high usage, I haven't used it a whole lot lately (about $500 a month) with my other cards I have to split usage. Who knows, maybe i'll get lucky!

Thats encouraging...................but I don't think I can have my util. nowhere near 1%, my scores should be right at 700 by then.
