I've been a cardholder since last September, and tried calling a few different times and doing it online the day my 6 th statement cut. They did not hard pull but they went over some of my soft CR pulls and denied the CLI. So I basically said F it and forgot about it, until they randomly called me yesterday and asked me if I could chat about a CLI. She asked me about a a baddie or two from around 2006 and said she would bump me up $750 to $1750. I wanted more but I wasn't gonna push my luck and was happy they were giving me a CLI. I put quite a bit of usage through my card, and would pay 1-2 a month and leave a small balance(she commented on my usage and payment history with them). Also I made sure to mention I was trying to use it as my primary card, but also let them know my Amex gets some love.
