Just keeping using the card and trying paying in full... I opened a more card back in nov as well and they gave me a credit limit of 1,000....they increased me this month to 15,000...I love discover

Discover is definitely one my favorite to do business with. When I opened my account with them in Jan of this year they gave me a $1,000 limit. In April they auto CLI me to $1250 In July I requested a CLI and they bumped me to $5,000 via SP, then in September they auto CLI me to $5,250. Just a couple of days ago they auto CLI me again to $6,000. I have always paid in full every month.

I think Discover wants to keep their limit close to what my Amex is.

Congrats. Discover has been a tough nut for me to crack. Member since 2001, I put a fair amount of volume through the card every month, pay in full, and for all that I have just a $1,500 credit limit. My TU FICO has held steady at 720-730 for most if not all of 2012. If it weren't for (1) having this card raises my AAoA significantly and (2) I don't pay a fee on the card, I would dump this card immediately. It does very little to justify being in my house, much less to justify being in my wallet.

Discover has been a good joint credit card for us. We started out around $5ooo. and they have auto increased us to $9400 in about  two years.

Congrats too!!

Just got an increase to 9k from 4.5 for my Discover Credit Card thru an analyst.  I got the increase thru a CSR which said my my app would need further review. A british speaking guy was interrogating me about my income and mortgage for twenty minutes lol.
