I'm not sure if this has been discussed already. I did a quick search and couldn't find another thread about it. In any case, I apologize if this is old news around here, it's the first time I see it.
Discover now allows using Cashback Bonus to make payments. IIRC, the minimum payment was still required before even when you applied Cashback towards your balance. I found this change interesting so I thought I'd share.
Yes it has been discussed before but it is always great to have a fresh new set of eyes and to get somebody else's thoughts on it.

+1
The last time I saw it discussed there was some lingering questions as to if it could actually be used as a payment (at the time, the language was ambiguous). I'm glad to see they decided to move forward and make it clear that you can, indeed, use cash rewards for an actual payment!
I'm really glad I was able to get a Discover card last summer... it's already saved me a ton in both cash rewards and interest!
You can use cash back as min payment if you're willing to wait a week give or take. What i do is ask it to deposited into my bank and then use it as payment to my cc
