Ok, So I did what I was NOT suppose to do but oh well. I applied for the Discover IT card and got this message:

We are reviewing your application and will notify you within 5-7 days once your approval status has been determined.
To expedite the process, please contact a Discover Application Specialist at 1-800-347-4736 between the hours of: M-F : 8.00amET - midnight S-S : 9.00am ET - 9.00PM ET
Your reference number is XXXXX
It then had me set up my online account access and if I wanted paperless billing.... So did I get the card or not?

Congrats!! It sounds like you're approved and may just need to call in to verify some info. Otherwise, you might still want to call in to find out your CL!! Welcome to the discover fam!

It seems to me that you got approved for the card. When I applied, it also had me set up my online account and got the 5-7 day message. Definitely give them a call. They will ask you everything on your CR, so be prepared to answer.

When calling, should I recon for a higher limit?
I was asking to send in my pay stub and was initially approved for 4k upon providing the pay stubs. Thinking if I should call back to recon for a higher limit.
