Ok, So I did what I was NOT suppose to do but oh well. I applied for the Discover IT card and got this message:

Thank you for your application.

We are reviewing your application and will notify you within 5-7 days once your approval status has been determined.

To expedite the process, please contact a Discover Application Specialist at 1-800-347-4736 between the hours of:

Call but i would offer my congrats nowSmiley Wink

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Congrats!! It sounds like you're approved and may just need to call in to verify some info. Otherwise, you might still want to call in to find out your CL!! Welcome to the discover fam!

It seems to me that you got approved for the card. When I applied, it also had me set up my online account and got the 5-7 day message. Definitely give them a call. They will ask you everything on your CR, so be prepared to answer.

Re: Discover IT Approval? hmmm not sure HELP!

When calling, should I recon for a higher limit?

I was asking to send in my pay stub and was initially approved for 4k upon providing the pay stubs.  Thinking if I should call back to recon for a higher limit.
