Does anyone know if Discover product changes?
I was approved for a Discover IT Chrome Student card ($500....sad).
I am no longer a student (didn't graduate. Just stopped, as I have a great job that is quite reliable). Any chance I could up to a regular Discover IT?
If you have a ful time job, call and see if they will convert it to a non-student chrome card, and also verify that you have teh double cash back for the first year promotion. Sure you have to wait a year for the second 2%, but that is still effectively 4% cash back. If your account qualifies.

Nevermind, its only on Gas stations and Restaurants. Yeah call and see if they will switch you.
I had my student Chrome for about three weeks when I realized the IT's cashback program better fit my purchases. I jumped on chat and the CSR immediately put in my PC- it takes effect at my statement cut (next week). It was super easy and fast.
Good luck!

+1. Everything I've heard indicates you can quickly and easily switch to the IT from the Chrome. Some people have even gone back and forth depending on what the IT was offering in a given month
