Discover IT Credit Limit

Discover It (Student) was my first card. Applied in 03/2014 was approved for $500.00. Since then I have recieved 3 auto CLI's every 4 months and now my CL is $1,000.00. Its not much but I hope that helps.

What is your usage with the card like? From what I've researched Discover is a big fan of usage. Call and see if you can request for a Credit Limit Increase off of a soft pull. If it works great, if not, Its worth the try.

Started out with a $1600.00 limit a year ago, in the fall they increased it too 200.00 being $1800.00 in total. This past weeked called and took a HP and they gave me $4000.00 giving me a total CL of $5800.00 which is my highest credit card limit.

Amex ED: 5,000 I Barclays: 10,000 I Discover: 8,700 I VS: 6,000 I Citi Simplicity: 6,700 I Amex BC: 2,000 I Marvel MC: 8,000 I
I Chase FU: 4,000 I US Bank: 500.00 I Fidelity: 5,000 I

I'm not sure whats the highest CL they give out, but applied for the IT card this pass January, and approved for 30K after submitting requested paper work. They pretty matched my Citi Double Cash CL!
