Can you guys let me know if I will get a 5% cashback if i purchase a TV through the ShopDiscover Samsung link?

If you use the Shop Discover link, yes. You should get the 5% back!

No it doesnt, major appliances count for home appliance products.  However my DG parents bought a new $3000 Samsung fridge and got the 5% back, and they didn't even use their Discover card...YMMV.
