Discover IT invitation

I got in today's mail an invitation to apply Discover IT card. It has an Invitation# on it. It expires on June 30th.

I got approved for AMEX BCE on 4/20. I guess I would wait till 61 days which would be around Jun 21/Jun22 and see if I can get 3x CLI and then apply for IT Card?

I wouldn't worry about the Invite to AP for discover they will send you more, proabably one every couple weeks or a month. Waiting for CLI from Amex is good, but I personally would wait a little longer to AP for discover unless you have plans for it, wait for the CLI on the Amex to post to your reports, may help get you a better starting limit on the Discover card and let your INQ from the Amex card age to 3 months, and if you have to recon the Discover, you can say your companies kept sending me the invites really wasnt in the market for another card but your rewards peaked my interest.

Make sure you are calculating the date right. It's not from approval date, but rather account creation.
