I also have 9.9% that is the lowest they would go for me.

3 years and I started at  a 22.9 APR.  I then got it reduced to 17.9>14.9>10.9>9.9%.  I asked about every 6 months through the online chat.  Discover is great. hope that helps.

 

EDIT: For a data point the 17.9>14.9% drop was automatic, not requested by me.  All the others were requested by me though.  I have never carried a balance, ever but it's nice to know I can.

Like I said before I am still under the 0% promo till April,  so I am waiting for that to expire. Then i wll do it. Amex would not let me while i was under the 0% promo.
