I did online, and then I called immediatly because I didn't get a decision online. They asked some identity verifying info and I got approved on the phone.

I applied online, they said they needed more info, called me after like 3 days, and told me they could offer me $1K with 3% interest for 12 months then up to 13% it goes. It's still a far better deal then some of my other cards. I've been with discover it for 6 months now, not a single complaint. I'm hoping they'll raise my limit for me in another month or so for being a good apple and PIF every month.
