1: My limit at the start was $750....Now its $5,000

Quarter one was groceries on the freedom.  Believe me, I asked.  Discover only offers groceries as a target.  Q1 was gas on discover, q2 restaurants, q3 &q4 Amazon and others.  You are getting freedom mixed with discover.

The cash back calendar is on ths Discover site.  It is not always the same from year to year.
