Discover Luv!

Just hit the luv button for Discover. Current limit $8k, asked for a $2k increase, crossed my fingers... Approved!  This now makes Discover my second card in the five digits.

 

Oddly, it said I was approved but "not for the full amount", only $2000. But I that's the amount I asked for. Weird.

Until they officially renounce financial reviews, I won't touch Amex with a thirty nine and a half foot pole.

Discover is pretty clear whether it's a hard or soft pull. Should be a soft.

Did you request the CLI over the phone?

you sure you didn't add an extra 0?? for $20,000 requested? :smileywink: then it sounds reasonable that they said no for the full amount requested :smileyhappy:
