Re: Discover Milestone CL

HOLY MOLY. I think that's the highest CL I've ever seen for Discover.

The obvious question is: what's your credit profile?

AMEX: $25,000, CSR: $10,000, Chase Priority Club: $1,500, Freedom: $5000, Freedom Unlimited: $1000, Discover: $21,000, BoA $11,000, WF Cash Wise: $5000

EQ FICO - 753
TU FICO - 755
EX FICO(AMEX) - 766

Re: Discover Milestone CL

Nice!!! Very impressive, especially for a Discover card considering they are very conservative with credit limits. I currently have a 15,000 credit limit. Smiley Sad Smiley LOL

Re: Discover Milestone CL

I clicked refresh and back to credit cards and then on to your post a couple times... I hear back in the 90's Discover could go UP TO $50k but it like NEVER happened! I'm not sure I have seen higher then my joint account with my mom back in 2002ish for $16k.

Yes, like others... Please tell us CL before increase and how long you have had the card?

What is highest limit before this? and couple other CL's you have in portfolio, and I assume over $200k income?

Thanks everyone!

Omg!!! That's a huge limit!!! Congrats to you! What are you current FICOs like?

Not sure, I haven't pulled TU in a long time but my EQ in January was 783. TU is stronger due to 0 INQ and a very old TL that fell off EQ, so the score could be higher.

Yeah I'm still surprised but I have seen a few people here with $19k too, so far haven't seen any $20k+ lines. I think Discover unlike some of the others, actually require utilization at that level in order to be extended higher lines. From talking to the analyst, she checked my usage and total annual spend in 2012.

I think they now go up to $250k and a few people here have higher limits but it does seem to be rarer. The card is two years old and $18,000. $35,000 is the highest before this.
