Two in a row for me today. I got approved for earlier today for the Barclays Apple Card barely a couple hours ago. I had put in an application earlier on in the day to Discover and got the usualy 5-7 day message. While having lunch I recieved a call from Discover, after confirming my identity the lady proceded to ask about why I wanted the card, then asked me why I filed BK in Aug 2010. I explained everything to her, she then went on to talk about my current credit card accounts with capital one and how it looked like i had been managing my credit very well, she then said tell me what happened with your Bank of America card (i had a ton of lates on this one, even ended up being charged off), I explained as honestly as I could. She finished off with " I have good news, I am going to approve you for $1000, welcome to Discover" I am on a real high right now. This is one card I have been dreaming of having and now it should arrive next week. It is officially Gardening time.
