I got my Discover More card in November of 2011. How long should I wait before I ask for a CLI or a APR reduction?

I think after your 6th statement cuts is usually a good time. Be prepared to take a hard for the CLI.
What is your APR? Usually that takes 1 year with Discover, on my 1 year anniversary, I got an APR reduction from 15.99% to 12.99%.

Not necessarily.... There is a system that allows you to request a credit increase that pulls a soft inquire. You can call the number on the back of a Discover card, but beware the they base the CLI on your income, spending habits, their CC util and etc. I was able to actually get my CLI increased from $500 to $1000 in about a years time. I really had no need for more then the starting limit of $500, as I was a student with no job.
