Re: Discover More arrived today...with a nice surprise!

I sent a secured message and asked for the black card. So I have the black one now. I think its worth a call to the backdoor number or executive office

Hey webhopper can I do the same thing even though I just received my card? Does that matter?

Thank you!  I was really excited when they approved me for it on recon.  It will get a lot of usage!  I hate waiting in lines so Amazon is my savior :smileyvery-happy:

OK, I just called the backdoor number to see if they would increase it from $800 to $1000 and they said it would be a hard pull, so I declined.  I did ask how often they review accounts for increases and she said they look every 6 months and assess the spending then.  The analyst I spoke to was really niceand informative; she did say that if she were me she'd wait 6-7 months, and if there wasn't an increase by then to call back so I wouldn't have 2 INQs from them within a week's time span.

I'll just have to get an increase the old-fashioned way - lots of lots of usage!  I don't think that will be a problem with the holidays approaching. :smileywink:
