So, I decided to go ahead and give Discover a shot and was tempted by their $200 bonus after spending $1500 in three months. Anyway, I was approved online instantly with a credit line of $2000 and got 0% interest for 6 months...I believe? But then the APR is 18.99% afterward (YIKES!!! Will not be carrying a balance on this card!!)
Not the greatest credit line and rate to be approved for but I will take it. I was kind of expecting Discover to give me a credit line on the lower end considering that I have seen many people on here with high lines on other cards (higher than mine even) get approved for a Discover card with a rather low starting line. I was not expecting to be given an APR that high though...perhaps it was my recent opening of my Chase Sapphire in April and my USAA MasterCard in June that triggered that.
I am not sure yet which bureau was pulled. But anyway, I'll go ahead and keep the Discover card...this adds a variety to my wallet rather than just Visa and MasterCard. Hopefully in time, Discover will grow with me and the credit line will rise and the APR will decrease.
i dont see the $200 offer on their site.

It shows up under the card builder site.
oh i didnt know you could choose options like that..
who does Discover pull?
OP, what are your scores...by your cards i'm guessing very high?
**whogavemecredit is currently down so please don't just post a response telling me to go there.
Discover gave me 1500 -- wasn't really happy about it. I am going to tell them in 6 months to raise it to at least to 5000, or else i might just close the account.
Congrats now you can pc it to the it card!

I am not sure which bureau Discover pulled, it hasn't updated on my reports yet. But however, my scores are not sky high...they are mid-lower 700's. Experian is 742, Equifax is 728, and TransUnion is 737.
