Would it be worth it to ask for a product change to convert my Discover More card in to a Discover It card?

Can anyone who has done this inform me of wether or not my open date would change?

Are there any advantages or disadvantages to this if I go through with it?

I'm interested in the fico score that the It card is now offering.

Its an easy process you just call and they do it for you. Nothing changes except you get a new card and more benefits

Painless process. The biggest advantage 1% from the first dollar spent unlike the More card.

So the consensus is to go through with the product change because there is no disadvantage?

I don't see any real difference between the two except the difference in the rewards structure

( Tiered / %5 vs. %1 / %5)

absolutely no disadvantage...if you have your own card image it remains valid until the card expiration...so my card is actually the physical More and the account is the IT...Just do it

There's no reason not to do it. It takes about two minutes and changes nothing, except you get better rewards.

Just did this at work on my lunch break via online chat today. Done in less than 5 min.

Does anyone know if we could be eligible for the 0% apr again? If not, think there would be any luck to calling the EO?
