Discover More vs Discover Miles?

I cant decide, help?

I currently have:

BofA 1k

Cap1 1.75k

Citi Diamond Preferred 2k

(and the AMEX gold just approved)

I care for miles more than cash back, but dont know which is harder to get and which is more likely to give me a decent CL.

I think Discover is fairly generous.... in my experience anyway. I went with a Discover More card, I would look at it in terms of features. If you care about 1% more cash back on gas get the Miles. Note that Discover More has cash back on gas, 5%, on some quarters. This year it was 2 quarters so you could say you get 2.5% cashback on gas. And not only that you get cash back on other useful things... this quarter has groceries and movies I think.

It doesn't matter. You actually can switch from one rewards program to the other if you get approved.

I have the Discover More and right now, I could actually switch to Miles or to Escape.

Sorry to hear that, just give it some time and try again. They'll come around eventually, they just tend to be really conservative but really are an awesome card to get.

I think I'll just garden for about a year or so, they didn't like my Collection, that will drop next year, I'll be fine after that . In the mean time I will work my balances and freeze my CRA,s.
