I have read a few threads on doing a PC to the Discover IT. I have an old Discover More card, however I get the 5% categories which is what I use the card for the most.

Is there anything else that the More gives over the IT?

The difference is in the non-category spending.

More offers 0.25% back on the first $3000 per calendar year, and 1% cashback after that.
It offers 1% unlimited cashback.

If you periodically spend in non-category areas, It will get you more cashback than More will.

Ah, that makes sense then. It would also explain why my cash back was always so small until I started watching the bonus categories and actually signing up for them.

Thanks for the clarification, while not a big deal I do sometimes use it for other categories so probably worth the change.
