Discover Personal Loan

Got an offer from Discover for a personal loan. Was thinking of using it to consolidate a couple of high interest CC with combined balances of about 5000. It would help my Util and save me some interest. Two questions..

1. Has anyone dealt with, or had any feedback about these loans?

2. Would it be a good idea to consolidate?

Of course I would keep my balances low afterward. Is it worth the hard pull to do this?

Consolidating is probably a good idea, since revolving utilization (CCs) is a much bigger hit than installment utilization.

I've gotten these offers, and the catch always centered around knowing what rate you'll get.

I'd probably look to local CUs first.
