Hmm... interesting.  I got my first Discover card in January of this year, have put $28,662 through the card, so I might actually hit the $40K mark by end of the year.

Humorous part is I spent January - July with a $1,000 credit limit, then got bumped to $4,000, and earlier this month to $7,500.
