I recently was approved for the secured discover card. I then found out i wasnt able to receive the 5% quaterly promotions because i had the discover chrome not the discover it. So after speaking with a customer service rep i found out i could convert my card and receive the 5% quarterly promotions but i would lose the double my cash back for the first year promotion. Is this accurate?
Update: After speaking with a second discover customer service rep, she said that i would not lose the double cashback my first year offer after i convert from chrome to it. Has anyone heard differently?
I didn't hear differently when I was recently approved I called customer service with a lot of questions and she said no problem you can convert and keep the special promotions
