My Discover card is hitting its 6 month anniversary in Feb. I am looking for suggestions regarding how I can maximize my possibility of getting an auto increase. My credit limit is at $1,000. I carry a balance of $300 monthly. I always pay before the due date and pay more than the minimum payment.

If you can pif instead of carrying a balance that would improve your chances. Even if you are taking advantage of a 0% offer you still have a better chance at an auto cli if you aren't carrying a balance.
Also discover generally tends to reward usage, so more spending on the card (coupled with paying in full) would certainly increase your chances.
used as normal spending then pif before payment cut.....
Thanks! I will try babysitting it for a while. The credit limit aggravates me because I have to keep making interim payments. My #1 card is my PRG rewards card. The NPSL is right up my alley. I just signed up for first quarter rewards. I'll start using it more since I like the reward category- Restaurants and movies.
