So, in other words Lexie, your Discover card did not act "hormonal" right? LOL
Not one bit. I did think maybe I should have calked ahead due to current events but it was not necessary

Mine flew into a PMS rage when I last used it, however.
Actually, Discover has locked up my card this week for suspicious activity (used on Amazon for $157). It didn't bother me. I actually thought it was nice that they were keeping an eye out on my account.
For me, the best kind of credit card company is the one that I never hear from . My thoughts are if there is a problem, I'll call them. Otherwise, don't call/email me. In short, "Don't call me, I'll call you."

Maybe your Discover card has an "irregular" cycle being that it's hormonal and all...LOL.

Maybe it's because you are shopping that merchants that has / had an unusual level of fraud / chargeback activity?
I used the card at Newegg (I immediately received an email after I placed that order, and was asked to verify that purchase). I've also used the card at Amazon and eBay. None of those are that "exotic", right?
I haven't heard a peep from Discover, despite making lots of extra purchases all over the internet the last few days to take advantage of the 5% CB before it expires!
