Discover card closed... account analyst not sure why

I thought for sure it was because of the CLI 2 weeks ago and that 21k was going to require proof of income.  Glad i am O.K. for now.  Strangest thing is they did not even notify me that account was closed.  I logged in to pay the bill and it said "This account is closed".  So strange.  But glad everything is back to normal.  

Maybe they tried to throw a wrench in the sprocket so they didn't have to pay me 5% back on the hotel booking =) =) =)

Great that it worked out - I had a crazy experience with my CU years ago - that did not work out well - and I was told the only thing I could do was re-apply for the card.  Yeah - that was some BS right there -

Accident?? Whoa Discover. What are yall smoking over there?? Imagine the nightmare that would have been had you been travelling and that was the only card you had on you. Geez!! Prime example why you never ever rely on just one company for credit. "Diversify I say. Diversify!"
