So I tried getting a cli on my discover. I did the automated prompts over the phone and requested a 2,000 increase from my current 750 limit. They said a csr would have to review my application. he was very nice and tried helping but he had no clue what a hard inquiry was. I had to explain it to him. So he went to find out if me requesting the cli through him would result in a hard pull and he said that there would be a prompt and I would have the chance to not go through with it if it was indeed a hard pull. I was denied again. But now I am worried that it was a hard pull eventhough he said it would not be because he didnt sound too sure and had to ask someone else. Any thoughts?
