Discover is in the good mood now

Hi ficoers,

I just call Discover to ask for cli since it has been 3 months from the last increase. The representative transferred me to credit analysis and he approved most of my request. I requested cli from 9.5k to 15k and got approved 14k with a soft pull. It was good without the hard pull and It would balance the credit from Saks Fifth 8k that I closed. Also, I wonder what is the Discover credit limit before providing financial paper that you can ask for? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks all for reading.

Wow - congrats! That's quite a CLI from a SP. Did you have a balance on your IT when you asked?

For discover it seems that there's a chance they will start asking for docs beyond 15k. Depends on the individual though.
