Re: Discover it card and free FICO scores?

You no longer need to wait for your statement to come out in order to see your FICO. It use to be that way, but Discover changed it. There is now a direct link on the main page where you can look at your FICO. At least, that's the way it is on my account. But, it also still shows you on your discover.

As for the OP, I believe you have to wait a month or two to receive your FICO through Discover.

If I remember correctly... Your FICO is on the back of the page that your card was attached to when you received it (or at least on the back of one of the pages that were in the welcome package along with your card.) I also remember having to wait a few days after receiving my card before I could view my score on-line.

A direct link from where? After you log in to the Discover account? I'm not seeing anything after I log in that indicates a place to view the score.

Don't feel bad, I had never seen a Discover it card up close before I got mine and was convinced that mine was a mis-print because there were no numbers or name embossed on the front. I was in the process of calling them to point out their mistake when I filpped the card over to get the 1-800 number that I saw all the info on the back.

Kind of glad I never completed that call because I'm quite sure they would have noted somewhere in my file "Does Not Meet Minimum Required IQ To Receive Future CLI". Enjoy your new card...

I just received my Sallie Mae in the mail today and activated it. Time to go find it online now. Smiley Happy

I busted out laughing with that one. You just made my day with that statement.  My husband turned around and gave me that "I gotta know what's so funny" look. Then after I read it to him, he said in his funny making fun of me squeaky voice "Must be made in China, I don't understand this card." LOL

Re: Discover it card and free FICO scores?

Hmm, just tried the tools and score thing on my Barclay Card.

It said my TU score was 768. My Discover it card said (from the statement sent with the card) 795.

I wonder if the big difference is now all the new cards are hitting my credit and it has dropped that much due to that?
