Just as a datapoint, my Discover APR is currently 9.99% variable (prime rate + 6.74%). I wonder if it's possible to get a lower APR with Discover.

To add another data point. I just used the chat to ask for an APR reduction, they approved it. I went from 22.99% to 18.24%. Seems like 4.75% is their standard drop.

I also got same apr reduction. I wonder how often you can ask for apr reductions ?

I think someone mentioned every 12 months earlier. However my account is only 9 months old. I'm going to try again in Aug when I hit 12 months.
