Hey Folks
Can someone tell me if this is a firm offer from Discover? I got an email from them based on the data on my Discover credit scorecard. I have not been able to get in with Discover yet and although these aren't the best terms...I know they can improve in time.
Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Purchases 0% intro APR for 6 months from date of account opening.
After the intro APR expires, your APR will be 23.24%. This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate.
APR for Balance Transfers 0% intro APR for 6 months from date of first transfer, for transfers under this offer that post to your account by December 10, 2016.
After the intro APR expires, your APR will be 23.24%. This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate.
Thanks
Brian
It looks like it to me.
I got the email today. I wasn't going to apply for any more credit cards, but I was interested in a free TU fico from somewhere, and it seems like a solid card to have, so I went ahead and gave it a go.. Received a $6,000 credit line, which is almost double my next highest. Not sure of the APR yet.
I'm officially done now. How do I get that spade?
Congrats Sheridan. Any idea who they pulled and what your score was at the time? Thx.

I believe they pull TU? It's been a while though and I may be wrong...

Congratulations! Nice starting limit.
The APR is annoying, mine is still at 19 or something, but they are good with promotional purchase APR for a year at 0% again. Mine is on a 0% purchase APR in 2016, makes it convenient for BT management.
Not sure who they pulled, and haven't gotten any alerts from CK or Credit.com. The EX FICO they showed on their scorecard site was 740, but if they used EQ, as the database shows is likely, it's a lot lower, more like 690. Surprised by the limit-was expecting 2-3K. Hopefully, they don't change their mind.
Discover pulls EQ 99% of the time.
Finally got logged onto CK-it was having a hard time updating today. EQ it is.
