So at the end of february i received two CLI's on my discover it. My statement cuts on the 25th, and one cli happened just before the 25th, the other one just after.
So of course, i expected no CRA update on the february 25th statement. But i was wondering if the march 25th statement would update on my CRA's wth the first CLI, since it happened before the february statement closed. As i thought might happen, NOPE.
So be wary if you have 2 consecutive statements with a a change to your discover card, it's a bit more accurate to say it "wipes out" reporting for the next statement instead of "skips a statement"
note i was on zero balance on the january 25th statement so it doesn't actually matter to me really

In order for discover to report to the CRA, you need to have used the card that month......
so say you don't use it for 3 months, it won't report for those months button the 4th month u use it, it will report for that month and report for the previous 3 months as positive history.
another quirk, though it makes sense, but a separate issue. No amount of use will make it report if you get a cli.
