Discover's first statement

When does Discover usually send out their first statement? I got the Discover IT card back in the early part of August, i still haven't received my first statement, it's not a big deal since I've been making a payment anytime I see the balance getting up there anyway, I was just curious.

Re: Discover's first statement

My first billing period was 45 days. You can do online chat and ask or send a secure message to find out when your statement date will be.

Re: Discover's first statement

I was approved around the 1st part of August, then it said after statement date 8/23 and now says after statement date 9/23 - so I am still waiting as well.  Not to mention, none of my rewards have shown up yet either.  The longer it goes though the lower the balance is.

Re: Discover's first statement

As an aside, it has been reported that Discover can take 60 to 90 days to send in the first credit bureau report. For me it was about 80 days. A heads up on this.
