Cowboy thanks. Journey I actually tried to get that card. After a sp verified some security questions and passing a chex system check. They sent me a Email saying they could verify my identity. Even with my DL# I can't seem to catch a break.
Maybe you can send in a bill and by chance is your address different on CR's?

No my address is the same. I kinda felt like the didn't want to service my account because I live out of their state. Im going to call Monday and see what they say.
They don't mind out of state so maybe it's a quick fix
Good luck and let us know the results
@asphaltcowboy wrote:Sorry about Discover, as others have said, they don't recon
best of luck with whatever you decide going forward
What about on approval (Can you recon?)
I just got approved tonight on a different term which ended up being no 0% APR, and 22.99.
Dont know what my limit is though. and I actually dont wanna find out until....lol
I like surprises.

Thanks for the feedback. Kinda what I was thinking but I don't think I will apply to Discover again. I just wanted a secured card and with me giving them my money to secure it and a fico and the mid 6 s. I don't think Discover needs or wants my business in the future.Easy secured card to get

Dumb question: so, this secured card reports to credit bureaus every month? If so, how long do you think one can be eligible for an unsecured card (with no credit history)?

There's no dumb questions here...Valid question you asked yes it reports to all 3 CB's
The card itself will not graduate but it will build solid history to apply for other unsecured cards
Has a good APR as well
use it for 6 months you should be good to go
doesn't hurt to call
