no i didnt app i promise but this might be a 6-12 month goal for me insted of CSP. the rewards seem much better for discover more card.
Thats what I have heard from most people, that the discover rewards + customer service is amazing.
I just apped last week and will be recieving the card today or tomorrow.
if i plan on apping in six months i plan to have UTL below 9%. but should i keep all cards open untill i get this card or should i close out my cap1's?
isnt the cap much lower on the 5% discover vs 5% Chase, I thought the cap on 5% was something low like $75 with Discover
its the same $75 is the mak you can earn but you will need too spend $1500 to get it.

oh ok but with Discover after further research you earn 0.25% rewards on non-bonus spending on the first $3k in purchases each year. Only then do you get the full 1% (Thats on non bonus spending)

There's nothing wrong with making long term goals.
6 months is not long term.
