pisses me off sometimes.. At random times, they would have website maintenances and they don't post statements on the weekends... **bleep**... chase and everyone else post statements on weekends and there are no website maintenances for their sites.... /endrant
I'm sure Chase and AMEX's website are just as secure or else there'd be major problems.... It just annoys me that they're so inefficient.
That's why there are different card companys. If one doesn't fit you, move on. Enough people do that they will get the message. Or maybe you'll find they were not so bad after all. Personally their customer service is first rate but that's just me. I can live with a few inconveniences.

They all do website maintenance some just do it through the night and maybe in shorter spams... Just depends... My credit union frequently is Down for 5-15 minutes every night at midnight for switch of day... Most also post sometimes days in advance when and why they will be down.

Discover posts statements on the weekend for my account. Just posted one on Saturday a week ago.
They do tend to do a lot of maintenance in the early morning hours and on Sundays, but then so do a lot of other companies. Not everybody else posts statements on the weekend. Barclays doesn't, at least not on my Sallie Mae MC; in fact, they don't do any weekend updating, but Discover does.

US Bank online interface is also extremely outdated (doesn't show pending charges), but they seem to be rolling out a new version soon.
I encounter that regularly with Discover in the morning hours after midnight but I don't usually get upset because I should probably be asleep anyways.

I hate that they take the website down Sunday mornings from 12am-6am, but I live with it.
