I know they seem tricky to get, but do you guys know what the optimal score and such are to get one?
Are you just want to get anything you can? or specific one?
Do you really need to get one now? or you can wait after your score reaches/over your goal score?
I can wait. No rush, I would like to get any of them. I an not specific.
Ideally >690
supposedly motiva is a bit less difficult than the others.

Very Good. If so just keep checking Discover web site. You never know when they will add a new product.
By the way, I got my Discover More a year a go for 2K CL with around 730. Less than 40K of AI and No negative report on my CR. I had 7 ccs already at that time, and this was my 8th one. May be that is the reason of small CL, all my others are between 3K and 8.6K.
Thanks for all the info...is there an easier one to get?

I had originally gotten a Motiva (did a BT to them and had high utilization on very few cards). Once my BT was paid off, I converted it to a More - which has MUCH better benefits. (You can't participate in the 5% bonus dealies with the Motiva, though you can utilize ShopDiscover.)
I got my open road discover with 700 but I applied as student though.
When my credit score crossed the 700 mark I began getting pre-qualified offers from them. I'd say that's prob their number or somehwere near that with very few or no derogs.
My FICO fluctuated betwwen 785 and 805 after closing a car loan and opening two. I got approved for Discover More card with 785 FICO with an 8k credit limit. I did get the 'you will receive a decision in 30 days' when I applied online, but about a week later they emailed me the approval.
