I currently have 4 credit cards. One Visa from my credit union for $500, 3 from Cap 1 ( secured at $500, Visa bought from Orchard Bank at $2750 and Quiksilver at $4500.) I saw a thread here a week ago informing readers that of Cap 1 consolidating credit lines. I checked in to this while speaking to a Cap 1 CSR and you can request this online on their website. I would like to apply for a Venture card with Cap 1 , but you are only allowed so may cards with them. ( I may be wrong). I would like to combine credit lines between the Visa and the Quiksilver, and close out the secured card. I only keep the secured card to keep me grounded and for sentimental reasons lol.
