I will get bolder when I call next time....but I did call amazon and got that one bumped up to 1000 as well Smiley Happy

That is on my 'things to do' for next week. LOL. It's sorta soothing my desire to app for Amex again. I know I need to wait so anything that results in a softpull is my bestfriend...and a distraction from making a huge mistake!

Re: Do I dare???

So I'm curious....for those of you who are asking for 3,000 and 5,000......are you requesting these numbers because you have other credit limits that high or are you just aiming high? My highest limit on any card is 1800.00 so I would be afriad to ask for more than that.

i have one higher then my walmart one... macys at 3.5k. asked for 3k because honestly didnt want to ask any higher. unless like i stated i wanted to buy a couple tvs i could NEVER see myself spending that in one month.

my next closest is 2.5k at best buy and 2k for a bank mc. all others are under 1k for now.

I request limits I currently have just so the CC could try to match that. Usually lower than my actual limit. I requested 3k for Amazon and they said no. My highest limit is 8.5k with Ashley so I was surpried Amazon said no considering this card is also backed by GE! Then she went back in and approved it for 2k. Still $1k short from requested increase but $1k higher than I had Smiley Happy

As of 2017, rebuilding...
