Do Inquiries before having a credit history affect the FICO score?

This question may sound crazy to some. My SSN is fresh and I will not have any credit history till my new Discover IT card reports this month end to the CRAs.

Would my credit inquiries earlier this month be associated with my credit report even though I will not have a credit history for atleast one more week?

I am asking this because I remember a BoFA credit analyst telling me something of that sort.

Thats a good question that ive wondered about before as well...

If you have zero credit accounts...and basically no credit report...is it just a blank page with whatever inqurieis you used up?

That's how mine looks. Until I have a credit score, Inquiries don't really do much. But once I have a score, any inquiries I rack up now will effect my score. So It's not a big deal now, but can drag you down later if you build up too many inquiries. I'd limit it to less than four if you can help it.

Current: EQ FICO 0, TU FICO 0, EX FICO 0 | Starting Score: 0 (08/21/2013)

Starting total revolving credit: $0 | Current total revolving credit: $1600.00

Inquiries (12 Months): EQ 3-4 TU Unsure EX Unsure | Most Recent: 8/19/2013

2013 Goals:
1,000.00 Emergency Fund
1,000.00 Emergency Fund, AGAIN
Mechanically Sound Car
Unsecured Card

Fifth Third $300
U.S. Bank Harley Davidson $300

Yes, if you have no history of credit and appy for credit cards, you will probably be denied for having no credit score. But those inquiries will appear on your brand new, empty, credit score and once you do establish credit they will still be there counting against you. Until they are a year old, and will drop off completely after 2 years since they were originally created.

My original inquiries just dropped off my reports a couple months ago.

TU-8: 804 EX-8: 805 EQ-8: 788 EX-98: 767 EQ-04: 752
TU-9 Bankcard: 837 EQ-9: 823 EX-9 Bankcard: 837
Total $443,800
