Yes, every SINGLE thing that doesn't charge me a fee. I don't carry cash ever, so I routinely charge sub $1 purchases to my cards, depending on category. Lately I have been so obsessed with maximizing my rewards, If someone gives me $3, and I want to spend it on something, I will stop by the bank and deposit that $3 into checking, then go buy it with my CC, and use online bill pay to pay the CC.

Also RE: DIY Car washes: I found one nearby that accepts CCs for no fee. Just swipe and the pressure nozzle starts up. Charges by the second and bills the final total to your CC. No more getting Discover Cashover before I wash my car! Smiley Tongue

Whoa that's a little obsessive! But aren't we all here? And billing by the second that's crazy talk!

Re: Do you really put EVERYTHING on your credit cards?

Everything that I possibly can pay with credit cards, I pay with credit cards. I will never give up cashback willingly by opting to pay with another method of payment now that I know about the beauty of reward cards.

However, my landlord forbids me to pay rent with a credit card, so I use a check. And it pains me to do so....

lol its only about $0.03 per second, so an average length wash will be about the same to putting in $2 in quarters and getting a 3 minute timer.

Re: Do you really put EVERYTHING on your credit cards?

Yup, everything. My parents don't get it. My friends don't get it. Besides the rewards, you also get certain protections and fringe benefits - such as chargeback rights, discounts, and access to certain events. I don't use all the benefits but I'm glad I have them. Besides, who wants to handle money that's been shoved in (mod cut)?
