AFAIK (As Far As I Know) BoA does not do this.
But let others confirm before taking my word on it.
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782

I've never heard of BoA (or FIA) backdating.

I tried with BofA and Citi, both denied. They said the "member since" info reflects the year you obtained that specific card not when your relationship began with the bank ![]()
