When I got my Simplicity last year it was a double pull (EX and EQ). That seemed to be par for the course with them.
For those of you who have more than one card, did they double pull you on subsequent apps?
Inquiring minds want to know.....

I have 4 cards with them and they have always double pulled EX and EQ. Interesting that my father only gets one HP (EQ).
I was denied a Citi card in Feb 2013 and they double pulled EX and EQ. When I applied for my AAdvantage card in March 2014, they only pulled EQ and SP'ed EX at the exact same time. It was the first time I'd ever seen a HP on one/SP on another approval. I think it depends on several factors as to exactly what they pull. I think if you have a really high score (800+) they may only pull one. When I apped, my EQ score was 809. YMMV

+1...i agree, i still have one baddie (CO) left on my EQ that is due to fall off this August. Hopefully after that i will only get one pull for future Citi apps. My father has a clean file so there may be some thruth to that logic.

I think (very subjective) their sequence is EQ always first, if anything questionable or derogatory, EX next. If nothing questionable and high score on EQ, maybe just a quick SP glance on EX and they're good. I'd love to test this theory with a few folks over 800 on EQ.
I was just approved a few days ago for the 100k AA offer, single EX pull (no score since on variable set of terms)
All three of my Citi cards from Dec 2012-April 2013 were double pulls. A hard pull CLI request was a single. Chase also double pulls me

Well there goes my theory. LOL

With that, scratch my thoery.
Goodness, they're making you pay the price for those cards. I have no idea how I got lucky with a single pull a couple months ago. Your scores crush mine.
EDITED: spelling

well i guess its a YMMV thing. Chase has only pulled EX on all of their apps so far.
