Does Discover counter offer with CLI?

In a few months, I am going to try to get a CLI with Discover (after I Amex 61-day 3x and that reports). Does Discover counter offer with anything if I request a huge increase and they can't grant it, like Amex? My CL is really low right now, so I would want to request a big increase if so.

Secondary question: what is the largest CLI you have gotten from Discover, in percentage of your original CL?

Yes. Last month I requested an increase to bring my CL to 10K and they countered with 9.2K. Biggest increase I've received from them was my first CLI from them - 2X my CL.

I wouldnt know about a Discover CLI personally....

But I do know they will counter if your eligible for an increase.
