Does PenFed close accounts due to new inquiries?

Will they close my account due to 80+ inquires and several new accounts. I have only had this account since December, always PIF. None of my other cards have balances either.

You talk about getting cards that are usually sensitive to inquiries and yet you claim to have over 80.   It doesn't make any sense.

If this is legit I apologize but it smells fishy to me.

If I were going to lie, why wouldn't I just say "I have an EQ of 850, 0 inquiries, AAoA 10 years, and just got an instant approval from PenFed for $45,000."

80 inquiries in 1 month? 1 Year? 2 Years? 

Between all 3 credit bureaus? Or on a single credit bureau?

2 years, the ones that have not fallen off yet, and average of 80 on each bureau.

Lisa why you put yourself through this. We all know the anwser, there is a risk that you could get AA. All you can do right now is lay low as possible untill those inquirys begin to fall off. Hold on Im going to help you out here

I certainly believe Penfed could Have an AA against you with so many inquiries. Like they said just laylow and do not app for nothing. No matter how hard it is you are digging a deeper hole applying for more credit. Stop being paranoid and lay low. If they start taking AA just let tell them the truth of why so many inquiries, don't lie it only makes it worse. Also i gotta ask, do you even use all the cards you applied for?

Inquiries only hurt your scores for one year, but each lender is different. PenFed could possibly AA you. So dont apply for anything and garden
