I know US Bank reports to the CB's on the last day of the month but do they report your statement closing balance or your balance on the last day of the month?
Ive never been able to tell because my balance on the last day of the month is always the same as my statement closing balance.
+1
they seem to report on the last day of the month for me, regardless of whether that's a weekday or a weekend. The balance on that day will be reflected, just that it may take several days for the bureaus to update it if its a weekend.
So for this month, your balance on 31st October will be reported.

All creditors report the balance as of the day that they are reporting.

Dw4250 - confirm your findings as that is what US Bank Credit Cards does for me.
I've always made sure I'm at $0 balance the last business day of the month and that's worked great, although enharu is probably right (I've never tested it on the weekends before).
Wow I always wondered, this about US Bank since I have also noticed it.
End of month, always.
I have a recurring charge on my Cash+ that posts every month right near the 29th / 30th and it always stresses me out (unnecessarily) whether or not it will post and give me another card reporting a balance that month.
