Does capital one do product changes?

In 2012, I applied for this stupid MTV card during one of my many, many app sprees. Anyhow, I guess capital one ended their relationship with MTV or whatever and a few years ago they converted my card to a journey card? I don't even know what the journey card is. Is it for newcomers and/or young people that are on the "journey" to credit? Definitely not fitting at this point but I do have a good history with the card and they've given me CLIs left and right. I don't want to close it down for that reason. Anyone heard of capital one doing a product change? I have the QS already but would like a venture card or something.

It can PC to QS but I am not positive when it comes to venture, suppose you could always ask Cap One, of course you may get several answers there too depending on the CSR.

Not sure you'll be able to PC Journey to Venture but you can certainly ask via SM 

They may offer another QS and later you can PC

or

PC current QS if the option is on your account and then PC Journey to QS

Later down the road combine if you like 

What are you waiting for you should have been sending the SM

Sweet! Thanks for the info! I just called and talked to "Mary" -- Yeah, I'm SURE that's what her name really is. lol. She said that my QS card has an offer to upgrade to Venture and the journey card has an offer to upgrade to QS. It's a win-win! I just have to call back during regular business hours to speak with an account specialist. Thanks again!!

I think you can do the secure chat whenever.  I don't exactly remember but I am pretty sure I PC'd my Plat MC to QS at around 9:00pm my time, which is 3:00am EST.
