Does charging small amounts affect Credit limits?

I'm just wondering if charging amounts like a $1.00 or $0.50  on my Walmart or Amazon Card to keep them active would decrease my credit limit?

Re: Does charging small amounts affect Credit limits?

Charging a small amount will most likely help keep a card from being closed, but regarding preventing any sort of CLD... it depends.

If you have say a 10-50K limit, but only ever charge $0.50, they might decide you don't need such a high limit based on your usage.

Given your profile noting only a 200/400 limit on your Walmart and Amazon cards, I would not expect any sort of AA such as a CLD with just minimal use.
